It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position. This person is also someone who is capable of driving success even with a wide range of diverse responsibilities anywhere between beekeeping and wizard training. Ideally this person is someone who can twirl flaming batons with their eyes closed, while hopping on a pogo stick, without neglecting safety. If you are this person we would love to get to know you and we can certainly assure you that your talents will never be overlooked.</p><p></p><p>The notable responsibilities of the Carton Receiving Handler are:</p><ul><li>Unload cartons onto trailers</li><li>Verify trailer, door and yard location</li><li>Tape and secure torn, open or damaged cartons</li><li>De-palletize cartons as required</li><li>Perform computer keyboard transactions</li><li>Use a radio to communicate with appropriate personnel</li><li>Operate a handheld scanner as necessary</li><li>Process paperwork as directed</li><li>Perform general clean-up of floor and work area on continuous basis</li><li>Adhere to established policy and safety guidelines</li></ul><p></p><p>What the Carton Receiving Handler already has:</p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>Previous warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUS</li><li>Ability to operate heavy equipment</li><li>Ability to use a handheld scanner</li><li>Experience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truck</li><li>Good hand/eye coordination</li><li>Excellent number correlation</li><li>Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities</li><li>Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook</li><li>Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes</li><li>Effective interpersonal and organizational skills</li><li>Strong team orientation</li><li>Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy</li><li>Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly</li><li>Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.<p></p></li></ul><p><span><i>The Company's policy is to provide equal opportunity to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital status, Vietnam era/disabled veteran status, physical or mental disability, or other protected classes prohibited by applicable law.
