Product Development Assistant

Quality, inclusivity, and attention to detail aren't just catch phrases for us, we apply them to everything we do inside the company walls and out.<br /> </p><p>The people we hire are, like us: passionate • inclusive • honest • warm • focused • curious • enthusiastic • and fun!<br /> </p><h2>About the Job</h2><ul><li>Maintain changes to colors and raw materials in RLM</li><li>Help support all aspects of the PD team for sample requests, fabric requests from the warehouse, data entry in information systems etc.</li><li>Support in the coordination of tech samples including ordering, receiving, organizing, distributing and tracking</li><li>Aid the sample requests process with sense of urgency and attention to target due dates</li><li>Proactively communicate on an on-going basis with team, supervisors, and cross functional teams to ensure deliverables and decisions are met</li><li>Assist in maintaining internal tracking system for real time status of samples, from order to delivery</li><li>Coordinate with raw materials warehouse to request fabrics and trims for sample creation</li><li>Attend and participate in meetings with cross functional departments : design, tech, creative, sales</li><li>Local travel to contractors, mills, showrooms and dye houses</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with suppliers <br /> </li></ul><h2>About You</h2><ul><li>AA degree, Bachelors preferred</li><li>1-3 years experience in apparel manufacturing</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis in Excel</li><li>Previous experience in information systems such as RLM, PLM, etc is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of garment construction.</li><li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong data entry skills and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and able to prioritize multiple task</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Problem analysis and problem solving</li><li> Must have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic</li><li>Must have reliable transportation.</li><li>This position will require travel to various locations throughout Los Angeles</li></ul><p></p><p>We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
