You will report to the Director Merchandising, Dockers.</p><p></p><p><b>About the Job</b></p><ul><li>Create an assortment strategy based on analysis of both our internal and competitor marketplace while considering global and local requirements. Deliver assortments in line with the brand's look and feel and achieve financial targets.</li><li>Partner with counterparts to develop seed, scale, maximize lifecycle strategies</li><li>Manage all collections and collaborations. Executing on deliverables and managing the go to market calendar from concept to delivery</li><li>Partner with Director to create a consumer-focused global product strategy and vision. Influence internal and external partner's around strategic vision. Monitor and share competitor trends including strategies for different markets.</li><li>Engage and partner with regional merchandising teams to ensure alignment and understanding of merchandising recommendations and develop insights into the local markets.</li><li>Drive global strategy as outlined by Director and deliver metrics for the respective category.</li><li>Participate and present in the monthly and quarterly business review meetings and update Design & PD partners on product sales.</li><li>Partner with the regional merchandising team to develop a compelling and consistent global product offering for a category or segment, aligned with the big ideas of the brand. Interpret and incorporate regional brief requirements in developing a global brief for the licensee partner.</li><li>Be a hands-on team member and have ability to work on the systems & processes if needed. Responsible for overseeing product data integrity in merchant systems and processes</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About You</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years direct merchandising experience working at an apparel manufacturer, retailer or marketer</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising and design trends in the global marketplace. Understanding of region's market share ad opportunity to grow. Ability to apply that knowledge, connect the dots, and create product ideas that win in the marketplace.</li><li>Knowledge of garment design and construction</li><li>Knowledge of cost of goods</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills (communication, presentation, influence and negotiation)</li><li>Strong communication skills with both internal and external partners</li><li>Can mentor and train others</li></ul><p></p><p>We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
