A Brief Overview
Join our team at Stanford Health Care (SHC), where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the growth of one of the nation's most pre-eminent academic health systems. As a member of our market development team, you'll support SHC's growth by negotiating JVs/partnerships, leading strategic planning, and generating market intelligence.

What you will do

  • Leverage market data to assess service line performance, leading to enterprise growth recommendations.

  • Perform financial modeling for de novo builds and payer/provider partnerships.

  • Partner with digital, operational and financial leadership to assess adjacent growth opportunities.

  • Interface with clinical and administrative leaders across SHC and the School of Medicine.

  • Author whitepapers on industry trends affecting SHC.

  • Develop new tools and processes to support our growing corporate development function.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline from an accredited college or university.


Experience Qualifications

  • Two to four (2-4) years of work experience (banking or consulting background preferable).

  • Professional work experience in healthcare (strongly preferred).


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to conduct quantitative analysis informing data-driven business recommendations.

  • Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations and prepare complementary materials for executive leadership.

  • Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization (clinical and non-clinical).

  • Ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and project owner.

  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $52.69 - $69.82 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
